Work Hard. Drink Great Beer.

The heart and soul of our beer is in the love, hard work and character that are the roots of Oregon’s wine and farm country. We craft our beer in the spirit of our neighboring farmers, ranchers, and vintners who get their hands dirty every day, and we serve up meals to satisfy the appetite that comes with it.

We opened our Monmouth location as an extension of our original brewery and brewpub, which calls a renovated, old timber barn in the heart of McMinnville’s Historic Granary District home. From its patio you can see our namesake’s grain towers that were the hub of Yamhill Valley’s industry at the turn of the 20th century. Though it hasn’t operated since the 1920’s, the nearest grain elevator has the fading letters of its last historic operator, McDaniel Fertilizer Company. Looking to the south, you see the Granary District’s largest grain elevator building, which is now owned by Buchanan Cellers and became a part of the National Historic Registry in 2014. Its upper levels still house the original machinery that processed grain and seed. Treat yourself to a tour someday.

Our flagship beers are named after the countless haystacks that have been bundled, the little sprouts that grew up feeding livestock, the pitchforks worn smooth from long days in the field, our beautiful Walnut City, the many farms that have been bet by fearless risk-takers, and the former grain station depot and grain elevators that processed and transported grain and seed long before Oregon’s wine country was known for wine.
